"Family Values" - 1 Thessalonians 4:9-12
In this message, God is bringing us to a short but very practical section of 1 Thess. Before we begin our formal discussion of Jesus returning, we will look at some simple and timeless "family values" for God's children.
What were the family values that were handed to you? Were they positive, negative, or maybe some of each? What values are you passing onto your own children? Remember, values are sometimes passed on intentionally and sometimes unintentionally! It might be helpful to ask your kids, "What things have you learned to value, if any, from living in our home?"
Well, as the ultimate Father, God wants to review with us four things that he values and wants us to cultivate in our lives. Then, He tells us in advance what the results will be of taking His advice.
