"The People God Helps" - 1 Peter 5:1-7

God helps those who......?? Can you finish the sentence? Did you say, "help themselves"? Those proverbial statements can be tricky to unravel because they are not always as straightforward as they seem!

In 1 Peter 5, Peter has some words for the church leadership -- the elders of the churches to which he is writing. There are some "do's and don'ts". What has your experience been with church leadership? Positive? Negative? Some of each? Peter gives us the tools to evaluate good leadership.
