2 Timothy 1:8-12

"Why don't you join me?" - 2 Timothy 1:8-12

As with the entire Bible, there will be plenty to challenge us from the next section of 2 Timothy, verses 8-12. So, I invite you to think about a time when you were embarrassed. Do you know the feeling of wanting to crawl in a hole or disappear? You know its bad when you feel your stomach sink and the blood rush to your face.

Have you ever felt that way about someone you are connected with? Have your kids ever embarrassed you in the grocery store? Maybe it was your spouse in a social situation, or every social situation?

What does that feeling of shame make you want to do? What does that have to do with the Bible? Tomorrow we will talk about the uncomfortable experience of feeling ashamed, what might cause it, and how to deal with it. Now I know you are curious, so...
