"Be Prayerful & Be Careful" - 1 John 5:14-21

As we finish up 1 John, we will connect some dots. What was undergirding the unity of our nation when we were just a confederation of states? How did our founding Fathers find the wisdom and ability to unify as a nation?

Would you believe.....prayer?

We have been born again, but we still have needs and challenges. Before, we were alone and without God in the world, and now we have somewhere to go with our needs! Are you confident in that connection with God?

As we discuss prayer, we will run head on into what might be the most difficult passage in the NT -- that there is a time NOT to pray? Really?

Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness -- the rights or privileges we have from our creator. And John wants to make sure we don't take that for granted! So,...
