Psalm 119:65-120

"God's Word & My Difficulties" - Psalm 119:65-120

Hard times are impossible to avoid. The wealthy have them and the poor have them. Sometimes they are self inflicted by misinformed or impulsive decisions. Other times they are external and sneak up on when we least expect them.

The Psalmist has had his share of difficulties, too. As I was reading this next section, I noticed a few more mentions of "revival", but the word that seemed to be repeated more is "affliction", or another form of the same word.

How does a person handle the difficulties of life without the Word of God? The better you know His Word, the better prepared you will be for handling small and "not-so-small" difficulties of life on earth.

I have an idea. Let's sing to the Lord and study Psalm 119 together! Let's see what we can learn about "affliction" and the Word of God.
