"Living Contradiction or Living Sacrifice" - Titus 1:10-16
On the heels of our last video we had a discussion about healthy church leadership, we can now investigate the "backstory". Why is healthy church leadership so vital?
Having set the bar for leaders, Paul demands that Titus set strong boundaries for controlling information and those who bring it. With some very, very strong language, Paul demands that those spreading damaging, inaccurate, ideas be stopped immediately!
There is just no way around it -- what you believe impacts your life, like it or not, and for better or for worse. A lie repeated by a lot of people and over a period of time can really gain traction. But it is still a lie.
When those lies have to do with God and the deep issues of our existence and relationships to Him, the damage can be magnified immensely. Here is the question we all have to ask: "If I believe this and follow this [whatever this is], what will it produce in the end?"
What kind of world would we have if everyone became a real follower of Jesus? What would change if YOU surrendered everything to believe in Jesus? If you want to talk more about this, then...
