"Told Ya So!" - Luke 24

What is there to say besides the obvious?

That Jesus was dead....and buried....and then he wasn't....is a sermon in and of itself! It needs no explanation, elaboration, or justification. It is a reality that has to be accepted or rejected.

That Jesus told them ahead of time exactly how things would go down. In fact, from the beginning God has told humanity how things would go down.

The messiah will suffer and rise from the dead! That's how you will know who you should follow! That's how you will know who to believe. He said it. He did it. He told you!!!

True....maybe Jesus was just a teacher of radical ideas. Maybe he was a little bit nutty or delusional or thought too highly of Himself. I mean, really, the Son of God? C'mon. That's kind of presumptuous isn't it?

It is...unless you are! In the resurrection, Jesus is vindicated. For all who doubted and for all who dismissed, the resurrection says that Jesus was not crazy or self inflated.....everything He said was true and right!

Imagine the atmosphere will be filled with anticipation as we remember that.....He Lives! So, ...
