Revelation 21:5-26

Have you ever wondered what Heaven will be like? If it's a literal place, how will all believers from all of human history ever fit??

Tonight we will take a closer look at the place we call "heaven". Jesus calls it "his Father's House" and tells us that He has gone to prepare a place for us there.

The saints throughout history have looked forward to settling down in a city that is eternal and made by God. We talk a lot about heaven but very few have any concept of what is to come as an eternal dwelling place!

John sees the new heaven and new earth, and on the new earth will be the eternal city where all of God's children will live for eternity. John gets an eye full of this incredible and incomprehensible sight as the city descends out of Heaven from God. It's called The New Jerusalem!

Tonight I will do my best to help us all comprehend the beauty and magnitude of the vision of this eternally permanent existence! So, sharpen your pencil. Have some coffee, and be ready to be blown away......if you are willing to believe it. Want to know more? Then........
