Revelation 18

Warning: Global Economic Collapse Ahead!

Following a close look at the final bowl judgments poured out on the earth, we are examining the Babylonian-ish world systems and their collapse before Christ's kingdom is instituted.

In Ch 17, we reflected on a post-rapture, globally unified and state validated religious system that includes everyone except those who choose to follow Jesus. Ultimately, the government of Antichrist that benefited from the endorsement of the global religion will utterly devour it. Antichrist will be worshipped as God.

In Ch 18 we look at the global economy of the last days. This is "Commercial Babylon". With all of its sinful indulgence and corruption, it will suffer quick and tragic collapse. Those that trade their conscience for pleasure and wealth will find a tragic end. The party is over and God has to judge the corrupt and sinful system that has been built around self indulgence and not loving compassion.
