1 John 3:4-9

"Is there hope for me?" - 1 John 3:4-9

We are back in the Book of 1 John 3 and I hope we can cut through some of the technical language and capture the essence. Words like sin, lawlessness, and righteousness are part of our vocabulary, but they can be hard to nail down.

In the context of discussing being "born again" and the results of that, John is still addressing some confusions and misunderstandings.

Can, or will, a person who is "right" with God still keep living in sin? What is sin, anyway? Where does it come from? Why do we do it?

Better yet....is there any hope to be free from sin?

John has some very important things to help us understand a little more about the disease of sin and its "treatment". Is there hope for us? You bet there is! So...
