"Why is Human Life so Special?" - Genesis 1 & 9

We are taking a break to recognize "Sanctity of Human Life" Sunday.

"Why?", you ask. Well the short answer is that it started in 1984, but has links going back to 1776. And if you want to go back even further, then we can consult Genesis chapters 1 and 9.

We have a few very special elements as part of the service tomorrow, including some important study of the word of God.

We also want to let parents know that the subject material with be mature but not explicit or graphic in any way. Still, use discretion if you usually keep younger children in the service.

Finally, we recognize that when we talk about life, conception, pregnancy, abortion, and children, we are addressing very sensitive and very emotional issues.

I can promise that we are aware and hope to minister to you with grace and sensitivity to the issues and pains that we know exist.
