"An Urgent Message" - Jude 1:1-4

It was one of those days. I had planned to get this video description out early and then take care of some other things before my evening study time. Well, you know how that goes. A more urgent matter arose that needed immediate attention.

That is what we find in this short epistle of Jude. He had plans to write about one thing.....but something else came to his attention that he just could not ignore!

We will spend four sermons in this little, one-chapter, letter. So, looking at only the first four verses which are filled with metaphor, illustration, biblical and extra-biblical references, Jude is coming down hard on "these". Clearly, there is an urgent issue that Jude runs at....full speed. This is serious.

Who is Jude? Who are "these"? What is the issue that has him all ruffled up? He ends the letter with some of the most beautiful words ever penned about God. If you want to know why Jude felt forced to change gears, then you will need to...
