What is a Splinter?


I am notorious for looking for the mustard everywhere in the fridge, except the front top shelf in front of my face. How do I not see it?


A famous verse that even many non-Christians are familiar with is...


"Why do you look at the splinter in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?"


How in the world can I miss a plank in my eye?


Apparently, quite easily, or Jesus wouldn't bring it up so dramatically.


Yes, we all have them from time to time. What are some of these "planks"? (or beams, or logs). What is often hidden from our view, but so obvious to others, to the point that it damages relationships?


If you don't want to know, then take that plank out of...


Just kidding, sort of!
