Revelation 15

We are in Chapter 15 tonight, having discussed the harvests of Ch 14 -- the grain and grapes. These were harvests of judgment, not blessing! Now, in this chapter, we are preparing for final judgment. But you have to think all the way to Ch 11 to remember that the 7th trumpet contained within it - like a nesting doll - the 7 bowl judgments!

We won't see those until ch 16, though. First, we take a moment for a musical prelude brought to us by the people who were killed because they refused to worship the beast. Their song is full of praise and not complaint. Their song connects Moses and Jesus as we consider the work of deliverance and redemption.

The chapter leaves us hanging in awe and terrifying suspense as the angels receive the bowls that are filled with the wrath of God. With these the wrath of God will be finished!

It's the beginning of the end, so.....
